Who we are
Message From The Founders Tony Basha & Joanne Basha
When we first founded the Australasian Soccer Academy in 2006, we wanted to provide opportunities and open pathways for players who have been turned away by others and left with little prospect to realise their potential. We want to continue this tradition through our tailored training techniques and ensuring each and every student is nurtured, supported and offered the best opportunities both nationally and internationally through our affiliations.
As our organisation has grown, we have developed a strong reputation for producing talented boys and girls, some of whom have gone on to play on professional stages both in Australia and abroad. Notably we have had the pleasure and privilege of playing a role in the development of professional players such as A- League veteran Kwabena Appiah, ex Western Sydney Wanderers player Alusine Fofanah, Socceroos FIFA World Cup player Mitchell Duke and superstar AS Roma player Cristian Volpato.
Currently we offer a variety of programs for players who are looking to follow the footsteps of our professional alumni. We want to make sure that all players have these opportunities, and the support we receive from you and other supporting businesses increases our ability to offer pathways to all talented young footballers despite their socioeconomic circumstances.
We look forward to the opportunity to join forces with your company to help us achieve our vision and in turn become an advocate for your company.
Yours in Sport,
Tony & Joanne Basha

Our Vision
Our Vision
Continuing our tradition in seeking to maximise the opportunities available for our current and future players, we are looking at how we can ensure the best possible standards to various avenues on how we can ensure that the best possible standards are introduced, developed and implemented as we move forward.
To achieve this we are aiming to expand the academy by gaining access to new facilities as well as developing our own that we can utilise as we continuously strive for our goal of offering a better pathway for our players aspiring that is currently available in some aspects of Australian Football.
Throughout this process we also seek to support the local communities wherever and whenever we can. Community support has always been a crucial part of what we do at our academy.
Getting kids focused on the beautiful game we all know and love is a great way to keep them off the street and out of trouble. In the past through our generous sponsorship partners, we have had the means to offer training scholarships to underprivileged and refugee children.
This is something we want to maintain each year and continue to offer opportunities to young boys and girls who just want to train no matter their situation.
